Yesterday me and my friend Dave decided to go on a little adventure cross country to take some photos for a project we were recently given.
For the project we have to take 10 photos of what we think is beautiful. Honestly, it sounds easier than it actually is. I was struggling for ideas, especially within Lincoln. Also the time of year doesn’t help matters, all the trees are bare and everything is darker and gloomy.
After some thinking and consideration Dave came up with the idea of visiting Buxton in the Peak District, I had never been so jumped at the opportunity.
After about 3 and half hours of travelling via train (and waking up at 7am!) we arrived, it didn’t disappoint, it was a very pretty place, has to be said.
Luckily Dave had been before so knew where he was going, we ended up at a place called ‘Pooles Cavern’ or to be more exact, ‘Solomons Temple’. The views were amazing, lovely rolling hills all around, something I’m really not used to growing up in Suffolk.
I also got to try out my lovely new camera, Olivia the Olympus. (Dave has an olympus camera too - so yesterday we nicknamed ourselves ‘Team Olympus’ - I know, we’re very cool)
All in all it really was a great day out, quite cold, a lot of travelling, but very enjoyable, definitely something I would like to do again when it gets a bit warmer :)

This is my final poster - pretty darn happy with it, got 2.1 for my grade which is not bad at all! :)

Finally got to do some proper drawing work at uni :)
Only really a quick poster design, really happy with how it came out though!
I have to make another design up to A2 size - won’t be anything like this I doubt but I’ll probably post a picture up when it’s done (all my uni deadlines are this coming week eeepp!!)
But yeah everything’s pretty sweet at the moment, bloody stressful but I think I’m getting used to it. :)
